About
Originally from Idaho, Miles received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Boise State University where he focused on drawing, painting, and printmaking. After receiving a scholarship to attend graduate school, he moved to Seattle to pursue his studies as an arts administrator. In June of 2015, Miles received a Masters of Fine Arts in Arts Leadership from Seattle University. Currently, Miles is working full time as an arts administrator and visual artist, while focusing on his new artistic passion, jewelry and metals.
Along with his passion for the arts, Miles also enjoys working with individuals with disabilities. Miles has experience working in K-12 special education as well as developmental therapy for adults with autism. This passion and experience has inspired his research in the fields of both fine arts and special education, with the goal of creating welcoming and high quality arts experiences for people with physical, mental, and neurological disabilities.
